Food Angel Donors and Donation Form

The Ashland Food Angels, in operation since 1996, operates nearly every day of the year to provide food, clothing and other useful items to those in need in the Ashland and Medford areas of the Roguei Valley. An all-volunteer registered non-profit (501c-3), we work in cooperation with our sister non-profit, the Congregatibon of the Angels of Service. Our work is to connect those who have goods to donate with those organizations who help people in our towns. Over the years we have been graced with the generosity of many local donors, the people and stores and farmers who make our work possible.

Without the support of our Donors, we would not be able to serve the needs or our fellow Rogue Valley residents. We offer a special thanks to the following donors:

Daily and Weekly Food Donors

  • Ashland Food Coop – Ashland Food Co-op is a consumer cooperative that has emphasized locally grown and produced products as a part of their mission since their founding in the early 1970’s.
  • Market of Choice – Market of Choice offers an extensive selection of the finest and freshest conventional, natural, organic, and health conscious products.
  • Shop’n Kart – Ashland Shop’n Kart is an independently owned grocery store that offers natural and organic food as well as “conventional” brands.
  • The Village Baker – The Village Baker is a premier bakery offering high-quality artisan sour dough breads from their downtown location.
  • Sunstone Artisan Bakery – Sunstone Artisan Bakery creates wholesome, nourishing, sourdough breads made in the tradition of the great European bakers.
  • Four and Twenty Blackbirds Bakery – Four and Twenty Blackbirds Bakery has been preparing delectable treats in Ashland for years, using only fresh, all-natural ingredients.
  • New Sammy’s Cowboy Bistro & Bakery – New Sammy’s, in Talent, Oregon donates handmade breads and pizza crusts using organic ingredients and a “wild” yeast starter.
  • Little Shop of Bagels – Little Shop of Bagels creates a surprising array of organic bagels, baked fresh daily and offered for breakfast and brunch.
  • Albertsons – Ashland’s Albertsons donates fruit, vegetables and bakery goods to the Food Angels every week.

Current Donors

  • Barking Moon Farm – Barking Moon Farm is passionate about organic farming and sell to the Siskiyou Sustainable Cooperative, three farmers’ markets, local restaurants and grocery stores.
  • Fry Family Farm – Fry Family Farm offers fresh, organic produce and cut flowers through CSA Harvest Boxes, growers’ markets and retail outlets.
  • Wandering Roots Farm – Wandering Roots Farms provides organic fruits and vegetables at local growers markets and CSA.

Former Farm Donors

  • Whistling Duck Farm – Whistling Duck Farm is located in the Applegate Valley and grows certified organic produce for local growers’ markets, fine restaurants and natural foods stores.
  • Runnymede Farm – Runnymede Farm is an organic, non certified, sustainable, farm which produces vegetables, eggs, meat, and milk for sale on site and at farmers markets. They also provide long-term internships through WWOOF-USA.
  • The Farming Fish – The Farming Fish, located Evans Valley, utilizes Aquaponics and eco-friendly, sustainable holistic farming practices to grow delicious Tilapia and organic vegetables.
  • Bigham Farms – Bigham Farms’ seasonal fresh produce and delicious squash varieties can be found at the Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market.
  • Blue Fox Farm – Blue Fox Farm offers certified organic vegetables through farmer’s markets, CSA membership, and various area restaurants and wholesale accounts.
  • Fort Vannoy Farms – Fort Vannoy Farms grows fresh fruits, berries, vegetables and sweet corn. Celebrate the Harvest Season with their Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch.
  • HappyDirt Veggie Patch – HappyDirt Veggie Patch’s mission is one of nurturing the people and land of the Rogue Valley by growing delicious, vibrant food.
  • Abbie Lane Farm – Abbie Lane Farm focuses on the “unusual, selling organic ground cherries, jujubes, antique apples, heirloom vegetables, bitter melon, kaffir lime, etc..
  • Black Dog Farmstead – Black Dog Farmstead offers organic produce and starts at the Grants Pass Saturday Growers’ Market and the Ashland Tuesday Growers’ Market.
