Food Angels’ Garden

Adjacent to the Food Angels food-sorting building is a small organic garden started and managed by Pamala Joy. It contains several garden beds for growing vegetables, fruit trees, and a variety of ornamental bushes. Though not prolific enough to provide much food for the Food Angels program, it is nonetheless a part of the whole effort to be in balance with nature, and allows for direct connection with the Earth. Some volunteers choose to work in the garden instead of collecting and sorting food, as their contribution to the wider food project. Garden experience is not necessary but is very helpful. Below are pictures of the garden at various times.
